Simply The Best (Amurath Baikal x NV
Masira) 1994 Bay Purebred Arabian Mare
She is aptly named...Simply The Best. From the moment she was born,
she was beautiful both in mind and body. A beautiful face with huge soft
eyes, a lovely long shapely neck, very refined through the body and the
legs and a 'tail up over the back' attitude. Simply is the favourite
of most farm visitors.
In the show ring Simply has excelled. Region 16 Top
Five Yearling Sweepstakes Champion - then Region 16 Champion Mare at
age 3 and East Coast Champion Mare at age 4. In 2004 at age 10,
Simply returned to showing and was named
Supreme Champion Arabian at the Tulip Arabian Festival. In the words of
the judge: "this horse epitomizes what to me is the true Arabian mare."
Simply was on breeding lease to Shea
Stables of St. Clair, MI and produced for them a 2001 Padrons
Psyche filly, Simply Gorgeous, and a 2003 Afire Bey V daughter,
Simply Afire - 2011 US
National Champion Country English Pleasure AOTR 18-35 and Top Ten Open.
She also produced for us Simply On Fire RF, by Afire Bey V who will make
her show ring debut in 2013 in the Country English Pleasure Division with
Equistar Training Center, PA. And Rideaufield has just purchased in
partnership with Leslie Lloyd, her 2009 Afire Bey V son, Heritage Afire.
Simply has
also produced an outstanding colt in 2005 by our own Xceptshahn.
This young fellow, Xceptshahnal Call RF is now a breeding stallion in Nova
Scotia with Terri Braithwaite. A full brother to Xceptshahnal Call
RF, The X Factor RF, is owned by Wendy Carnegie in Manitoba, to be her 50
and 100 mile endurance horse.
Simply The Best foaled a beautiful Pomerol daughter,
Simply Unique RF, ("Nikki") in 2006 - Champion
Hunter Pleasure her first time off the farm. She has been retained
by Rideaufield Farms.
From a wonderful show horse to a wonderful mother, to a wonderful
riding companion on the trails, she really is Simply The Best!

Aristocrat Mare
Alia Nazada ("Leah") herself was East Coast and Egyptian Event
Futurity Champion as a yearling. Although never shown under saddle,
she was trained by Stachowski Farms and is a lovely Western Pleasure
horse. She is a tall long necked, deep bodied, very correct mare.
She has proven herself over and over as a brood mare of extreme merit.
At the 2004 Eastern Canadian Breeders Championships, three of Leah's
babies were in the Top Six placements, including the Champion and the
Reserve Champion. Perhaps her best known daughters are
Pretty
Woman + (2004 Region 16 Champion Mare, Open and AOTH, three-time
Eastern Canadian Breeders Champion Mare and multi Hunter Pleasure Champion
- and Liz Taylor RF, owned by Faye
Sampson of Pennsylvania, 2004 Eastern Canadian Breeders Reserve Champion
Mare and Region 18 Top Five Mare AOTH. A Questionable Lady, her
daughter by Close Call (x Amurath Baikal), was also Top Six in the
Mare Class and the Western Pleasure Division of the Eastern Canadian
Breeders Championships. She is owned by Wanda Burrows.
No less outstanding, are her
other offspring by Xceptshahn: Xceptshahnelle Woman RF - Region 16
Champion 2-year-old Filly and Top Five Open Mare; Colorado RF++/ - Region 16 Champion
Stallion and Champion 2-year-old Colt and Region 18 Champion Gelding,
and National Top Ten under saddle. Nevada RF Eastern Canadian
Breeders Champion - Yearling Filly and
Yearling Futurity Filly.
Leah's next two foals were by Pomerol -
Romance in
Rome RF - Champion Halter first time out - Evening in Paris RF - in the
Maritimes preparing for a career in endurance riding.
And Denver RF (2011) by Xceptshahn - perhaps one of her best babies -
a tall elegant gelding who will be tops both in halter and under saddle,
owned by Rideaufield Farms. Leah is in foal
to Xceptshahn for 2013 and is on a breeding lease to Angie Alguire, Double
A Stables, ON.

1997 Bay Purebred Arabian Mare
Xceptshahnally Maid represents three generations of
Rideaufield breeding. She is an Xceptshahn daughter out of a double
Three-B Rasheik++ daughter. "Shahna" is 15.2 hands, an
extremely correct individual. She was Region 16 Top Five Yearling
Filly and her first offspring to show, Maid of the Mist RF, owned by the
Punter family, has proven her to be a Champion producer. She
produced an equally exceptional filly, also by Amurath Baikal, in 2004
(Maid Marion RF) who was undefeated in halter. Xceptshahnally Maid
then produced three foals by Pomerol - the Champion colt,
The Bronze RF (aka "the Fonz"),
Maid of Honour RF and All Maid Up RF - both beautiful
fillies, but unshown to date. She is expecting a foal for 2013 by
Earl Grey++/.

A Champion herself, Comin Up Roses was Region 16 Unanimous Yearling Sweepstakes
Champion and Region 15 Incentive Champion. Shown once as a 2-year-old she was Junior Champion and Reserve Grand
Champion Half Arabian Mare. She is a half sister to My Elsinor's Joy (by Amurath Baikal), US National Top Ten Half
Arabian Futurity Filly and Region 16 Champion Half Arabian Mare. Her dam, Queen Elsinor, is a full sister to Night of Roses,
one of the top National Show Horse producing American Saddlebred stallions. Her sire, Three-B Rasheik++,
a Canadian Top Ten Halter Champion and for many years, an IAHA All Time Leading Juvenile Sire (Top Ten on the list).
Comin Up Roses is tall, elegant, with a beautiful, long neck and oh, so wonderful personality.
In 1998, her first baby ( by Amurath Baikal),
Sweet P
(born 1995), was Region 16 Top Five Mare (third on the cards) and
East Coast Champion Half Arabian Mare (by unanimous decision). She
then showed at the US Nationals in Half Arabian Futurity Fillies and
placed Top Ten! She was shown to these victories by Phil Wolfe Jr.
of Classic Arabians in Delaware.
Her 1996 foal by Amurath Baikal,
The Sweet
Rose, is a halter and performance champion, but most importantly an
outstanding producer. She is the dam of Maghnus Z+// - one of
the top National winning Half Arabian Halter geldings - 2010 US
National Champion Half Arab Futuriy Gelding and Champion AAO, 2011
US National Champion Open & AAO, and 2012 US National Champion Half
Arab Stock Hunter Open, and Reserve National Champion AAO. She
has also produced a National Champion Sport Horse in Hand. The
Sweet Rose is proudly owned by Jennifer Wilson, DE.
Her Half Arabian daughter , The Xceptshanell Rose++/,
foaled in 2001, has National Championships and Top Tens in Dressage, Sport Horse
Under Saddle and Hunt Seat Equitation. Owned by Lise Clark, Starlit
Farm, ON
Comin Up Roses 2003 filly by Earl Grey++/ is a knockout!
Her name is Peppermint Paddy RF+++/. She is the 2004 Region 16
Champion Half Arabian Yearling Sweepstakes Filly. She has won
numerous Regional Championships in Halter, Hunter Pleasure and has
more than enough points for the Legion of Supreme Masters, but has
never been shown at a National level.
Comin Up Roses produced another
Earl Grey++/ filly - this time a bay - in 2006. Her name
is Ice Capades RF and she is owned by Russlyn Dyke of Nova Scotia -
she is making a name for herself in the Competitive Trail division
in the Maritimes.
Her 2009 black colt, Nat King Kohl RF, by
Earl Grey++/, is waiting on the side lines to begin his career, also
as a competitive and endurance horse in the Maritimes with his
owner, Lynn Beazley, NS
Her 2010 black filly,
Penelope Rose RF,
also by Earl Grey++/, is her next and unfortunately, last baby.
And she is a knockout! Keep an eye out for her in the future!

Comin Up Roses) 2003 Grey Half Arabian Mare
Foaled April 4, 2003.
Gorgeous grey mare. Tall, extremely long, fine, hooky neck,
beautiful face and wonderfully correct. 2004 Region 16
Champion Yearling Sweepstakes Half Arabian Filly and Top Five Filly at
Region 15. The year before that, at just eight weeks of age, she was
Champion Half Arabian, both Open and Amateur at the Tulip Arabian Horse
Festival. "Phoebe" is an outstanding show horse with just the right
attitude, but an absolute love to deal with in every respect. She is
obviously outstanding in conformational quality as is evidenced by her
show record.
As we would have expected, Phoebe has moved forward and
done exceeding well under saddle - achieving her Legion of Honor - as a
three-year-old, her Legion of Merit - (coming to within one point of
her Supreme Legion of Merit) as a four-year-old! Region of
Supreme Honor in 2008 and Legion of Supreme Merit in 2009! She
has more than enough points for the Legion of Supreme Masters, but has
never been shown at a National level.

Chestnut Purebred Arabian Mare
A gorgeous chestnut mare foaled here at Rideaufield on April 6, 2006.
A very pretty face, nicely
dished, very fine muzzle and chin... one white sock (left hind), a
flattering splash of white on the face tapering to a narrow snip on the muzzle.
Possesses a shapely Pomerol neck with a beautifully laid back shoulder.
Although we have only shown her at one show, she won everything she
entered.

 2010 Black Half Arabian Mare
This beautiful black filly was foaled here on June 3, 2010 - She is a full sibling to the highly successful Peppermint
Paddy RF+++/
as well as to Ice Capades RF (2006) and the 2009 knockout black colt Nat King
Kohl RF. By our US National Top Ten Futurity Champion Stallion and US
National Top Ten Hunter Pleasure ATR Select, Earl Grey++/. She is
tall, flashy and an in your pocket kind of horse. We are very excited
about her.
